CryptoLogic releases new Poker software
CryptoLogic Inc., a leading software developer to the
global Internet gaming industry, has recently released a new
poker tournament leader board software that provides
licensees new opportunities to create spectacular events and
gives their players new chances to win!
They released the leaderboard this month (October 2006)
to couple with their Autumn Promotion. Although US players
are not excepted, there is still a huge demand for poker
worldwide. The Autumn Windfall promotion, which ends on
November 19th, gives players a chance to win more than
$300,000 in money-added tournaments and leader board prizes.
The most successful player from the three daily tournaments
will be crowned 'King of Poker', and collect the leaderboard
money. The 150 highest ranked players on the leader board
will earn a portion of the pot.

Cryptologic Upgrades Poker Platform
CRYPTOLOGIC, an online software developer released a new
upgrade of their online poker platform in September of 2006.
This "distributed poker" system provides licensees the
mobility to locate their shared online poker room in markets
that offer the best growth opportunities, without
interrupting the games or their players.
They can now handle over 50,000 players simultaneously
online without the fear of the servers crashing or
interruption at the tables. This will enable them to provide
LIVE feeds of game upgrades while the players are online so
that they don't have to log out and log back in to receive
these upgrades. Recently, the room has offered new features
like Lightning (ring games and Thunder Tournaments, which
